Bible reading project Committee Statement
The purpose of the Bible reading project committee is to help attendees experience the transforming power of God’s Word through regular Bible reading and to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. Rooted in 2 Timothy 3:16–17 and Revelation 1:3, this program encourages participants—especially students and second-generation believers—to develop a deep, joyful, and personal relationship with Scripture.
Through weekly online Bible reading groups, attendees read the Word together, share spiritual insights inspired by the Holy Spirit, and grow in fellowship and prayer. Our approach emphasizes that Bible reading is not a duty or burden but a joyful spiritual journey that nurtures faith, discipleship, and Christian fellowship. The program is designed to guide participants in reading the New Testament twice each year, followed by the Old Testament on a three-month, six-month or one-year plan. Group leaders serve not as teachers but as shepherds—faithfully praying, encouraging, and caring for each member with the Word of God. During each session, members read Scripture aloud in turns (5 verses each), meditate on the Word, and share the grace they have received. This practice cultivates attentiveness, mutual encouragement, and deep spiritual connection. Through shared prayer and reflection, participants experience genuine spiritual growth, strengthened faith, and fellowship in God’s love.
Our vision is to raise a new generation of believers who not only know the Bible but live by it—becoming disciples, Bible teachers, and coworkers in God’s ministry within their church and the world mission. As we read and obey God’s Word together, we witness how it transforms lives, strengthens faith, and raises young spiritual leaders for Christ’s kingdom.
