(UPCOMING EVENT) 2026 UBF Founders Day "Delight in the Word of God"

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. Thank God for your diligent service to our Lord and fervent prayers for his world mission work.

It is hard to believe that we are soon approaching the 25th anniversary of the late Dr. Samuel Lee's homecoming. He went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2002. We began observing Founders Day in October of 2002 and have done so every year. Accordingly, we will hold the 24th annual Founders Day celebration on October 2, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. Chicago time at the Chicago center.

This year's theme is "Delight in the Word of God," and the key verse is Psalm 1:2: "...but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night." We remember how the late Dr. Samuel Lee, Mother Sarah Barry, and other founding members of UBF loved and meditated on the word of God day and night. When they did so, their souls rejoiced, and God used them powerfully to proclaim his salvation to the ends of the earth.

This year, Dr. Mark Yang, who was deeply influenced by our founders, will present a testimonial message on Psalm 1. Younger leaders -- who continue to love and proclaim God's word -- will share their testimonies: Oh, Ji-hoon (SNU 3, Korea), Dima Saliuk (Kiev), Daniel & David Byun Jr. (Astana, Kazakhstan). There are also special programs. It will be a spiritual festival that we believe will renew our love for God and his word. Please pray for this meaningful event and join online through the ubf.org website.
