(COSTA RICA) Pablo Star Oh’s 3 Month Missionary Update: Pizza Fellowship!

By Missionary Pablo Oh

Three months have passed since I arrived in Costa Rica. Today, I had a wonderful fellowship with nine Costa Rican students: five freshmen, three sophomores, and one graduate student, among them three young women. We met for lunch and enjoyed pizza together. Each of them studies the Bible with me every week. The students truly enjoyed our time together, sharing joyful conversations and laughter. One of the highlights was a Bible quiz on the Gospel of John I prepared. Each student took turns answering questions, and they were delighted to receive small gifts such as Korean caramel candies and ramen—just like little children. Even the students who are usually quiet became lively and cheerful when we gathered, filling the room with laughter and joy.

We have made two plans for the coming months: An end-of-semester lunch party in early December and an online Bible reading group during summer break (December–February) to continue growing together in faith. I thank God for this precious opportunity to share His Word and love with these students. Your prayers and support are deeply appreciated as the seed of the Gospel continues to grow in their hearts.
