M. Paul Koo's Homecoming Ceremony
M. Paul Koo (Vancouver 4) was called home to be with the Lord on July 4th, 2024, at the age of 69, after battling illness for the past ten years.
Before his death, all co-workers in Vancouver gathered and had a prayer meeting together with him. His Homecoming ceremony was held on July 9th at the funeral home, and many co-workers around the world joined online. We thank God for M. Paul Koo's life of faith and his labor of love for the Canadian campus mission and pray for God's comfort on his surviving family members: M. Hannah K., David K., John and Deborah K. and Samuel K. (grandson) as well as the brothers and sisters in Christ in Vancouver 4 chapter.

We thank God for the life of Missionary Paul Koo, who lived a life of faith and completed his race. He battled illness for the past 10 years, reaching the end stage of his life with no recovery options. On July 4th, 2024, at 7:30 am, at Royal Columbian Hospital, he peacefully passed away to be with the Lord.
Before his passing, Missionary Paul Koo was overjoyed to see all Vancouver chapter coworkers at the united Sunday worship service. He also cherished a moment with his grandson, Samuel K, the son of his second son John K. Please keep Missionary Hannah K and her two sons, David (Jihwoi) and John K, in your prayers.
Missionary Caleb Park is the new director of Vancouver-4 chapter. He shared many thanksgiving topics with us as he welcomed Missionary Paul Koo home to be with our Lord.
