The 16th Latin America Mission Strategy Conference was held from October 1–4, 2026, at Philadelphia Church in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was organized by the ACTS (Latin America Mission Research Institute) (Director: Dr. Yoon Chun-Sik) and co-sponsored by the Brazil Missionaries Association and GMTI (Mission Training Institute).

About 20 keynote speakers and strategy presenters represented the 972 Korean pastors and missionaries (including 114 from UBF) dispatched by various denominations to over 20 Latin American countries.

The conference theme was "Clarifying the Essence, Making Mission a Part of Daily Life!" It proclaimed that in this rapidly changing era, Jesus, the Word, is the essence of mission, and that the mission must be carried out within one's daily life across diverse environments.

Key mission strategies include using AI in mission; medical and refugee missions; theological education; training college students and local leaders; evangelizing children and youth; and dispatching missionaries.

Missionary Joseph Ahn’s "Latin America a Missionary Sending Continent" and Missionary Noah Jeong’s "São Paulo UBF Fishing Evangelism Modeled After Jesus Christ the Evangelist" summarized the mission experiences UBF has cultivated in Latin America over the past 50 years through Self-Supporting Lay missions, one-on-one discipleship, the training of local leaders, the multiplication of evangelists, and sending Latin American missionaries.

UBF missionaries from São Paulo and Campinas expanded the Latin American mission network by participating in the conference, fellowshipping with instructors and missionaries from diverse denominations and mission organizations, and sharing their missionary experiences to co-work to make Latin America a missionary-sending continent.
