“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9

We are now entering the Christmas season 2025. It is time to remember what Jesus has done for us. He left the indescribable glory of heaven and came into this troubled world. He took on human flesh with its limits and weaknesses and became one of us. He suffered as we do and went through the same struggles that we have. Finally, he went to the cross. He died in a most lonely, shameful, and painful manner as a sacrifice for us. Then God raised him from the dead. In this way, Jesus saves us from sin, death, and eternal condemnation. He has given us life to the full–everlasting life! He has promised us eternal glory in his kingdom. He became so painfully poor to grant us eternal riches. As we receive his wonderful grace with simple faith, it moves our hearts with gratitude and desire to give generously to others.

This Christmas, let’s express our thanks for Jesus’ grace in one heart and spirit. The UBF community worldwide has traditionally collected a Christmas offering from chapters worldwide to be used for God’s glory and good purpose. The International Executive Board has designated the 2025 Christmas offering for humanitarian relief of suffering people in North Korea, Muslim countries, and other places of need, with the prayer that God may open doors for preaching the gospel in these places.

Let’s overcome the hatred of the world and reveal the love of Christ through generous giving. Our Lord will be pleased and pour out his heavenly blessings on us. Merry Christmas!
