"The theme of the conference was “Is God among Us or Not?” This theme was challenging to everyone. It looks like we were complaining against God as did the people of Israel in the wilderness. With doubts, they asked “IS GOD AMONG US OR NOT?  We chose this theme as well as other main messages to address our current situation in South Sudan."

<Summary of the Report>
The conference was a spiritually uplifting event attended by 54 adults and 11 children, despite ongoing economic, security, and political challenges in the country. Missionaries Andrew and Hope Kim from Korea attended the conference in the midst of difficulties. The conference theme, “Is God Among Us or Not?” addressed the deep doubts and suffering of the South Sudanese people, who face poverty, famine, and internal conflict. Through powerful messages based on scriptures like Exodus 17:1-16 and Mark 12:28-34, participants were reminded of God's faithfulness, the importance of loving God and one another, and the power of forgiveness. The conference also featured testimonies of personal transformation, including stories of repentance and spiritual healing. For the first time, the conference was broadcast live on Facebook, extending its impact beyond the attendees. Despite severe economic hardship, including government workers going months without pay, the conference participants experienced spiritual renewal and a stronger commitment to God's mission. Ten new attendees joined the fellowship, and prayer topics were set to continue discipleship, establish house churches, and support new graduates in finding jobs. <Read full report>
