“For the one who believes, everything is possible.” Mark 9:23
From September 12–14, Nicaragua UBF held a discipleship retreat. We thank God for the 9 brothers and sisters who participated in the retreat with hope. Through the Gospel of Mark, God renewed our calling, our confession of faith, and decisions to become disciples of Jesus. God enabled brothers Bilson and Jerson, and sisters Joseling, Luisa, Paola, Geysah, and Camelia to decide once again to respond to Jesus’ calling and follow Jesus.
We experienced the power of the Holy Spirit through the Word “Who Is A Disciple?” (Mark 8:34, 35), evangelizing in the park, reflecting on and memorizing key words, and hiking at Loma de la Cruz (900 steps, 700 m). Of the 21 participants, 17 completed the entire route!
Prayer Topics:
1. That missionaries and local ministry leaders grow as disciples with faith and wisdom.
2. That God would establish and restore 12 families of faith in Nicaragua.
