(HQ) Vision Academy Launches Short-Term Missions Cohort

Vision Academy is forming its first Short-Term Missions Cohort, a year-long journey for 10–15 young adults who will prepare together for cross-cultural ministry and participate in a two-week mission trip to Guadalajara, Mexico in Summer 2027.
The cohort begins in Fall 2026 with the course "Why Am I Here? Biblical Foundations for the Short-Term Mission Cohort," taught by Ben West starting October 2026. Two additional courses follow: "Following Jesus in a Secular World: Biblical Worldview, Secular Narratives, and Public Faith" (Winter 2026/27), and "From Knowing to Going: Evangelism, Bible Study, Leadership, Soul Care, Freedom, Cross-Cultural Mission, and Team Dynamics" (Spring 2027).
Beyond academic preparation, cohort participants can expect to grow in ways that last well beyond the trip itself: a personal vision from God discerned through Scripture, prayer, and obedience, and life-long friendships with peers rooted in Christ.
