The Church of France organized a Bible Conference in central France, an area with extinct volcanoes. We prayed that this conference would be organized by and for young people, with a program that would be tailored to them. The theme was "They Met Jesus." Young people from our churches in France, as well as from Switzerland and Belgium, chose four Bible passages they were interested in. The young messengers Timothée (Brussels), Théo (Geneva), Paul (Paris), and Maria (Paris) delivered powerful, grace-filled messages. Several others also shared personal testimonies of their encounters with Jesus: Kate (Kyiv, Ukraine), Hanna (Bern, Switzerland), and Maria (Aix-en-Provence). Each individual was deeply moved to see how much the Lord loves them and how He is working in their lives. In response to a recent question raised by young believers in Paris, “How can we glorify God through our work?,” a special seminar was held during the conference, prepared by Eun-Mi, an entrepreneur, and Marie, a professor at the University of Paris Cité.

The program also included joyful moments of fellowship and recreation: a snack and “Ramen Party,” an Explorer Game in the park, icebreakers, and a “Just Dance” session. At the heart of the conference were the Word of God and prayer. On the first evening, we prayed for world peace and persecuted Christians, moved by the testimony of Kyryl (Ukraine), who shared his experience of living as a Christian in a nation at war. On Saturday night, during the prayer evening following the testimonies, the Holy Spirit worked powerfully. Many repented and received Jesus again into their hearts with tears.

We pray for our young people to continue to grow in the Lord to serve the body of Christ and experience the grace of God in their lives. We thank God for the spiritual hunger and sincerity of the young people, as well as the collaboration and support of brothers and sisters from Switzerland (Bern and Geneva) and Belgium. We thank God for the presence of Kyryl and Kate from Ukraine, who, despite experiencing difficulties leaving Ukrainian territory, were able to participate in the conference. We especially thank God for this conference filled with peace and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Praise be to God alone!
