We held our Easter conference, “Return to the Love of the Father,” surrounded by beautiful mountains and God’s creation. Our conference began with a message on creation, where we learned that God made everything good and that we are His creatures. In the evening, the message focused on the man with the withered hand, showing how hard it is to reveal what brings us shame, our sin, but that God restores our lives.
On Friday morning, God spoke to us through the message of the Syrophoenician woman, revealing a precious faith that recognized her unworthiness before Jesus, even accepting that she was like a dog eating crumbs from the table. The central message was about the prodigal son, teaching us not to waste what we have been given. Later, we heard about the faith of the Roman centurion and his love for his servant.
On Saturday morning, we saw how Jesus helped Nicodemus by planting the faith of being born again. At noon, the message of the cross showed us the greatness of God’s love and that we are saved through Jesus’ sacrifice. In the evening, the message of the resurrection taught us the faith that overcomes the world. Filled with joy, we praised and thanked our Lord Jesus through musical pieces, a choir, three dances, and a play, giving glory to God for our salvation.
God worked through His word, helping both first-time guests and our leaders. On Sunday, through the message of the storm, we learned that God calms every storm and that we must have faith in Him. In the Sunday service, we heard the calling to be fishers of men and cast our nets into the deep, and with this direction, we returned to our mission campuses.
We thank God for bringing His people: 21 from Cuautitlán, 14 from Acatlán, 3 from Querétaro, and 176 from Mexico City. Thank God for leading us back to the love of the Father!
