Session 1: Getting to Know One Another (September  9, 2026)

The first session of the House Church Forum took place via Zoom on September 9, 2026. God richly blessed the gathering with over 70 participants, including 55 house church leaders alongside UBF leadership—marking a historic milestone as the first collective gathering of North American house churches.

The program opened with welcoming icebreakers, followed by a dedicated time to recognize those who have faithfully served the house church ministry through various trials and sacrifices. David Yun then presented the vision, goals, and key activities of the House Church Support Team (HCST), highlighting the value of a networked house church model. Following introductions of participating leaders by the Regional Coordinators, Pastor Ron Ward delivered an encouraging message from God’s word, emphasizing the vital role of house church ministry within UBF.

Overall, the session aimed to foster closer connections among house churches while building stronger bridges with UBF leadership. The HCST expresses its deep gratitude for Pastor Ron Ward’s initiative and the Regional Coordinators' support. We prayerfully look forward to the second session on September 16, which will feature a presentation by Luke Hong on the biblical and historical context of house churches, followed by group discussions on the identity, vision, and future direction of UBF house churches.
