(NICARAGUA) Missionary Rebeca Kim Awarded 'Order of Cultural Merit' for Over a Decade of Advancing Korean Language and Culture in Nicaragua

For more than 10 years, Missionary Rebeca Kim has diligently worked in Nicaragua to establish and manage the first Korean study course (language and culture) at both private and national universities, despite challenging conditions since 2011. A Korean study room has also been inaugurated at the central library, and the TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) exam has been held in the country since last year.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the dissemination and development of the Korean language and culture abroad, and thanks to the ambassador's recommendation, she has been awarded the "Order of Cultural Merit" by the government of the Republic of Korea.
We give all glory and gratitude to God. We pray that the Korean course multiplies like the five loaves and two fish with which Jesus fed over five thousand people and the course becomes a channel to bless many students on campuses.
