The Pretoria UBF chapter fasted and prayed for five weeks leading up to their Easter Conference, titled “Living Water.” Missionary Joshua coordinated the Bible studies and supported message preparation, while Mpho and Missionary Petra oversaw the children and youth programs.
The conference featured three main messages, beginning with a group Bible study on John 3:1–21, which supported Acene’s message on being born again. On the second day, we studied John 4:1–30, with Archie delivering a message on living water, emphasizing the need for spiritual fulfillment through Jesus. The evening program included moving personal testimonies, a mission report on Madagascar by Missionary James, and a talent show.
On the final day, we studied Exodus 16:1–36. Brian spoke on “Daily Bread Training,” highlighting the importance of daily dependence on God. Sister Tumishang shared her heartfelt testimony and dedicated herself to feeding God’s flock on campus through the word of God. In this way, God has continued to hear our prayers for the vision of raising 40 campus shepherds like Jesus by 2030. Praise God!
Prayer topics from the conference included raising more spiritual leaders, finishing the book of Exodus, and establishing Gospel-centered Africa ministries in Mozambique, Swaziland, and Madagascar.
