(SOUTH KOREA-VIDEO) Korea Online Mission Report Conference for Fall 2024 was held on August 30th, 2024

On August 30, Korea UBF held an online mission report so that Korean coworkers and those from overseas could attend without any burden. In particular, due to the circumstances of Central Asia, where information disclosure must be restricted, holding the conference via Zoom was appropriate. Daniel B. gave a detailed report on the 3-night, 4-day European retreat, including the lecturers and music programs. He reported that 42 Ukrainian coworkers amid the war attended and that prayer for them was critical. Chang-moo L. reported that the messages of the seven speakers clearly showed that Jesus is the only way we must follow.

Sarah H. wrote about the entire process from the preparation for the conference a year ago and stressed the value and significance of this conference. Unfortunately, she could not attend because she was returning from the London Disciple Retreat, so M. Paul H. read it on her behalf. Spurgeon L. and Bang Y. II reported on the Central Asia Conference. Spurgeon stated that the light of life brought by Jesus is brightening the dark Central Asia, and its impact is being revealed in many people's lives. Bang Y., the eldest daughter of missionary Ruth B., who hosted the retreat, mentioned that she learned about the hardships of her parents and missionaries during the event. This experience made her proud and called her to serve in Central Asia.

The event lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes, with 450 people participating. Since most centers watched it on the chapel screen, it is estimated that over 700 people participated in the live broadcast. The report conference was concluded with prayers for the Moscow conference in September, the India conference in October, the Oceania conference in December, and the Latin International conference in April next year.
