Joshua in Darmstadt 2 UBF ministry in Germany, shared his thanksgiving topics celebrating the 25th anniversary of his missionary life.

I sincerely thank God for His salvation grace upon me through Jesus. I experienced Jesus’ resurrection power in 1992, which motivated me to grow as a disciple of Jesus, a Bible teacher, and a spiritual shepherd to care for Jesus’ flock.

I wholeheartedly thank God for challenging me to suffer alongside His people for the purpose of world mission. For this, God blessed me to marry M. Paulina in March 1999 and sent us out to Germany as a missionary family in September 1999.

God blessed us with Elina, our first daughter, born in December 1999; Hana, our second daughter, born in February 2002; and Jemo, our first son, born during the European Bible Conference in August 2005. I thank God for Holger, who grew as a spiritual leader in 2004. God also blessed me to complete my master's degree at the University of Mannheim in October 2008.

God blessed me to work at the Hyundai Motor R&D Center and helped my family pioneer the University of Darmstadt in 2010. I thank God for sending the Song family as coworkers in 2013, enabling a fruitful partnership over the last 11 years. I also thank God for blessing us with Enoch, our second son, born in 2015.

I thank God for raising six next-generation disciples of Jesus, especially for Elina, Hana, and Yehee, who serve as life testimony speakers and messengers for Sunday worship services, Bible studies, and Bible conferences.

I sincerely thank God for allowing me to celebrate my 25th anniversary as a missionary in Germany, enabling me to present my mission report in Köln and Heidelberg in September 2024. Specifically, I give special thanks to God for using me as a UBF missionary.

I also thank all the growing leaders, missionaries, and friends in UBF for their love and support for me and my family. I thank God for UBF of Yeonhee in Korea, as well as the UBF chapters in Mannheim, Heidelberg, Darmstadt, Köln in Germany, and Chicago in the USA. May God continue to help me gain Christ and be used to make disciples of Jesus by obeying His world mission commands until the end. Amen.
