(NORTH AMERICA) House Church Ministry Forum Will Begin on September 9, 2026

The target audience for the House Church Ministry forum is University Bible Fellowship (UBF) house church leaders and those interested in house church ministry. The forum is designed to promote communication between UBF leadership and house church leaders, providing opportunities to better understand one another, share perspectives, and strengthen partnership in ministry. The forum will consist of the following three sessions.
Session 1: Icebreakers & Introduction (Sept. 9, 2026 at 7 pm CDT)
In this session, we would like to introduce our UBF leaders and house church leaders. Each participant will briefly introduce themselves, share their ministry context, and present their vision and hopes for their house church ministry. This will be an opportunity to learn from one another, build meaningful connections, and gain a broader understanding of how God is leading and working through house churches in different settings.
Session 2: House Church Ministry (Sept. 16, 2026 at 7 pm CDT)
Missionary Luke Hong will examine the biblical, historical, and theological foundations of the house church through the lens of E. H. Broadbent's The Pilgrim Church, critically evaluate its implications for University Bible Fellowship (UBF), and propose a sustainable hybrid model that preserves relational discipleship while providing healthy structure and support for long-term ministry. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
Session 3: House Church Needs – Panel discussion (Sept. 23, 2026 at 7 pm CDT)
In this session, house church leaders will have the opportunity to openly share the needs, challenges, and concerns they encounter in serving their house church ministries. Topics may include spiritual and emotional wounds, ministry fatigue and burnout, balancing family and ministry, children's spiritual nurture and education, financial and vocational pressures, leadership isolation, and other practical or pastoral challenges. Our desire is to create a safe and grace-filled environment where leaders can encourage one another, pray together, and explore biblical and practical ways to strengthen and sustain healthy house church ministry.
