The memorial service for Missionary Rebecca Youk (August 25, 1949 - April 9, 2025) was held on May 17, 2025, and was filled with grace and heartwarming moments. Rainer, the keynote speaker, shared how he came to faith through the care and Bible studies with the Youk family. Rebecca's surviving children—Paul, Sarah, and Peter—recounted the loving care of their mother, who raised them single-handedly following their father's death in 1995. The second-generation missionaries performed a touching rendition of the song "You Raise Me Up!" Her youngest son, John, presented a beautiful photo slideshow, sharing that his mother had given him his first smile. Six others also testified to her gracious care and the victory of faith, referencing Revelation 2:10. Special guest Moses Yoon from Korea UBF shared how, following her husband’s passing in 1995, Rebecca Youk visited London and spent meaningful time in fellowship with him and the London chapter. The service concluded with his benediction. On May 23, 2025, a funeral service was celebrated by Pastor Jonathan Hong from Wuppertal. He reminded us of how Rebecca lived according to the words of God (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) and encouraged everyone to seek reconciliation. Amen!
