(BRAZIL) Elias Park Passes Leadership of São Paulo UBF to Timoteo Han

On December 28, 2025, São Paulo UBF celebrated a Leadership Transfer Ceremony during Sunday service. Missionary Elias Park delivered the message based on John 1:1-4, "In Him Was Life," sharing his testimony, grounded in 34 years of missionary work from 1991 to the present. This biblical passage was the same one he used for his first message upon arriving in Brazil. We thank the Lord for blessing missionaries Elias Park and Maria Joy Park in their ministry of preaching and discipleship, especially on the campus of USP (University of São Paulo). Missionary Elias Park retired from his position as director of the church in São Paulo and was succeeded by missionary Timoteo Han.
Missionary Timoteo Han presented the prayer topics based on two key verses. Mark 10:43-44 says: "But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else." Luke 12:43 says: "Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing."
His prayer topics are as follows:
● To humble himself by following Christ's example and serving his coworkers so that they may be exalted and be used as servants of God.
● To dedicate himself to the ministry of the Word and to prayer as a faithful and wise steward of the Lord.
We give thanks and glory to God, who has blessed the ministry of the Gospel over these 34 years through missionary Elias Park, and who has granted a work of succession according to His sovereign will, under the prayer and blessing of all the staff of the church. We pray that God continues to work in the São Paulo UBF, using it as a powerful instrument to preach the gospel on campuses in Brazil, especially on the USP campus, and to raise up 120 disciples and 1000 house churches.
