(HQ) Dr. Joseph Cho Presented “IT and AI Integration in UBF Mission Work” at the 2025 Annual KIMNET Meeting

By Dr. Henry Park

From November 10–12, 2025, the Annual Meeting of KIMNET was held at the Community Church of Seattle. KIMNET is an international Christian missions network that connects churches and mission organizations for more effective global mission collaboration. Pastor Ilsik Choi, who founded KIMNET in 2001, retired and was succeeded by Elder Sangjin Lee.

Three UBF leaders—Henry Park (Columbus, OH), Joseph Cho (Los Angeles, CA), and Abraham Song (Seattle, WA)—attended. The conference theme was “Doing Smarter Polycentric Mission in an AI-Driven World!” Dr. Joseph Cho, acting coordinator of the UBF IT Department, presented practical examples of how AI is being used in UBF ministry. His presentation was well-received, and several leaders invited him to share further with their organizations. One of those in attendance, the doctoral program director at Grace Mission University (a seminary in Fullerton, LA), later invited Dr. Cho to serve as an adjunct professor next semester. He will be teaching a course titled “Integrated AI Applications for Ministry” to future pastors, missionaries, and international students.

We thank God for KIMNET and for Pastor Ilsik Choi’s faithful support over the years. We are also grateful for the growing partnerships formed through this network, with a shared vision of advancing God’s kingdom together.

The presentation materials are attached below in English and Korean.
