(HQ) Belize Short-Term Mission Trip

Thank God for the Belize mission trip this summer led by Pastor Juan Seo from New York UBF. It was a blessed time in which the Lord did a mighty work between several ministries: New York, Springfield, Montreal & Dresden Germany.
We arrived in Belize City and were so warmly welcomed by Missionary Moses C., Sarah C. & Eunice X. as well as Dillon L. We were so moved by their sacrificial lives in the country of Belize. Although we came to serve, I felt that these great missionaries and ministries served us more than we served them. They opened up their homes and fed us with food, love, prayers and God’s word. We visited various campuses such as University of Belize, St. John’s college, University of West Indies, etc. We also served at an orphanage where we did Bible studies, worship, message, arts and craft as well as provided meals for them. We also were able to go outreach in the city of Belize.
Afterwards we had a wonderful conference in Belmopan where Pastor Juan Seo gave such a beautiful and powerful sermon on John 15 about remaining in Jesus. Several people on the mission team, such as Kajo C., Grace F., Eunso Y. and Elizabeth J., gave life testimonies. Belize is a beautiful country with lots of natural resources. And though the heat was quite extreme, I can see that the people there are strong enough to deal with these conditions. They have such a humble and loving heart toward foreigners like ourselves and showed great hospitality wherever we went.
Belize UBF is praying to raise 7 families who love Jesus, 7 Bible teachers and also music servants. Belmopan UBF also prays to have a bigger Bible house as well to make room for more students in the ministry. I saw many young disciples in both Belize UBF chapters and how God is doing a great thing in these chapters. May God continue to do great things through Belize UBF.
