“And without faith it is impossible to please God.” Hebrews 11:6

We give thanks and glory to God for abundantly blessing our Fall Bible Academy in Aix-en-Provence, France, held on November 8–9. This Academy was based on Hebrews chapter 11, with the theme “By Faith: Walking with the Heroes of Hebrews 11.” Hao, Laura, Sandrine, Bertrand, Cedric, Ezekiel, Donald, and Iris joined together to learn about the faith of our spiritual ancestors and to grow deeper in living by faith today.

Day 1: Faith That Pleases God

On Saturday, Missionary Jeanne, Yohan, Sandrine, and Isaac each shared powerful messages on the essence of faith, the faith of Abel, the faith of Enoch, and the faith of Noah from Hebrews 11. Through their sincere testimonies, we saw how the living God is still working personally in the lives of His people today, just as He did in the lives of those heroes of faith in the Old Testament. God deeply touched each messenger’s heart, granting them the grace of salvation and leading them to live lives that please Him by faith. We especially thank God for blessing Bertrand, Cedric, and Donald, who attended and received much grace. After hearing the messages, Bertrand asked for the opportunity to share his personal testimony at the next Bible Academy. Donald also expressed his desire to join weekly Bible studies on Saturday mornings. We praise God for these precious responses of faith!

Day 2: The Journey and Triumphs of Faith

On Sunday, we gathered again for the second day of the Academy, with the theme “The Journey and Triumphs of Faith.” Hao, Laura, and Jean Kim delivered inspiring messages about the faith of Abraham, the faith of Sarah, and the faith of other heroes from Hebrews 11. Each also shared personal testimonies of how God is leading them to walk by faith in their own lives. Those who attended, including Ezekiel and Iris, were deeply moved by the message and the example of Abraham and Sarah’s faith. Hao and Sandrine joined via Zoom, and those who gathered in person enjoyed a wonderful lunch fellowship and a time of beautiful communion in the Lord. It was truly a moment of grace, unity, and renewed vision to live by faith together as one body in Christ.

Thanksgiving & Prayer

We thank God for His living Word and for His work in each participant’s heart throughout this Fall Bible Academy. Please pray that our family and all eight participants may continue to grow in faith, persevere through challenges, and live lives that glorify God. May the Lord bless each one to become a hero of faith in this generation, following in the footsteps of Abraham, Sarah, and all who lived by faith before us.
