North America Regional Coordinator’s Retreat
For the first time, there was an in-person retreat for NA Regional Coordinators (New York, February 19-20). Regional coordinators (8 regions) and some of their spouses participated along with P. Ron Ward. The newly appointed NA UBF Coordinator, Dr. Augustine S., led the meeting. They shared their ‘My Shepherd Life’ testimonies and discussed:
- The Status of NA UBF Regions and Chapters,
- Regional Activities.
- The Regional Coordinator’s Meeting and NA Staff Conference Preparations.
Through this in-person meeting, the regional coordinators got to know each other better and had meaningful discussions. They all agreed to meet in person at least once a year (Meeting right before NA Staff Conference seems to be a good option).
North America Staff Conference 2025
The North America Staff Conference 2025 was held in New York during February 20-22 with over 230 attendants. It was very encouraging to see many young leaders at the conference. The title of the conference was “A Living Hope,” and three messages were given from 1 Peter. God’s word was powerfully proclaimed through the messengers (P. Ron Ward on 1 Peter 1, P. Juan S. on 1 Peter 2, and P. Mark V. on 1 Peter 5).
The program was rich, and our staff members were edified through diverse reports, workshops, invited talk, and senior staff testimonies (All the materials can be found here: NA Staff Conference File Collections). One new feature at the conference was the presentations on some of the notable works of God in North American UBF. We could see what God has been doing in different regions of NA and it was quite inspiring. There were also senior staff testimonies, and all NA staff members deeply appreciated their life-long commitment and sacrificial life of service for the UBF community. Of course, fellowship cannot be left out. All attendants enjoyed wonderful fellowships with one another through GBS, reflection sharing, pre-conference tours, and even early morning tennis fellowship! Indeed, God blessed our staff members abundantly through the conference to renew their identity (living stones), hope (living hope), and vision (living as a shepherd). May God bless NA UBF ministries and make the USA and Canada a kingdom of priests and a holy nation! Amen.
