After learning the truth that Jesus is the way at the UBF European Summer Bible Conference (UBF ESBC 2024) in August, we sought to learn from the courageous faith and commitment of the Prophet Daniel and his friends in order to follow Jesus with the same attitude and faith.
On Friday evening, E*llen from Darmstadt 1 spoke about Daniel’s decision of faith as a young man in Babylon, emphasizing the importance of holding on to his spiritual identity and prioritizing God. She has been studying the Bible faithfully for five years.
On Saturday morning, M*arkus proclaimed the faith and commitment of Daniel’s friends, which helped the unbelieving king Nebuchadnezzar acknowledge the living God. Later that evening, H*ana from Darmstadt 2 encouraged us to enter the narrow gate and follow Jesus on the narrow way, drawing on her own life experiences and referencing Matthew 7:13-14.
On Sunday, H*enoch delivered an encouraging message about Daniel’s faith and prayer, inspiring all of us to become "lion tamers" in our own lives. The life testimonies of M*ihye, A*braham (a new missionary from Mexico), J*ena, and W*esley were heartfelt and moving, helping attendees open their hearts before God.
We thank God for blessing the conference and the spiritual fellowship among coworkers and young people from five UBF chapters. May we all strive to follow Jesus with clear attitudes and courageous faith like Daniel!
