Matthew 6:33-34

Questions to start: (For everyone to answer) What is something people worry about? Share 1 thing you are personally worried about. 

1. Read Matthew 6:33,34. What does it mean to seek his kingdom first? What does it mean that tomorrow will worry about itself?

2. Choose one or two of the following passages to read aloud together. Reflect on how these people demonstrated faith and obedience to God. 

Matthew 19: 25-30 (Jesus' promise to those who follow Him)

1 Kings 3:9-14 (Solomon's desire for wisdom)

Genesis 22:1-14 (Abraham Tested)

3. The following verses encourage us to trust in God and His providence: Please read them together and choose 2 or 3 to memorize individually or as a fellowship. If there are any other verses that come to mind, share them to mutually encourage one another.
