1. Missionary Team and Orphanage Ministry
On July 27th, a team of 16 missionaries from New York and Springfield arrived in Belize to serve in the orphanage ministry and prepare for the Belize UBF Summer Bible Conference. On July 30, three missionaries from Germany also arrived in Belize after experiencing numerous flight delays.
On July 28–30, the mission team visited Liberty Children’s Home in Belize and served approximately 50 orphanage children. The team had Bible studies, worship, games, and lunch with the children. It was a beautiful time of fellowship, and both the missionaries and the children were greatly blessed through the ministry.
2. Summer Bible Conference
The Belize UBF Summer Bible Conference was held from July 31–August 2 at Quest Ministries Retreat Center under the theme “Remain In Me.” Approximately 70 people attended, including 19 international missionaries. We thank God for bringing together participants from Belize and other countries for a meaningful time of Bible study, worship, fellowship, testimony, and prayer.
God richly blessed the conference through the service of our international guests. They participated in many ways, including leading worship songs, hymns, special songs, Bible messages, and testimonies. Four powerful messages guided us through the Christian life of following and remaining in Jesus:
1. “Follow Me” — Matthew 9:1-13 by Dillon L., Belize UBF
2. “Believe in Me” — John 14:1-14 by John L., Springfield UBF
3. “Remain in Me” — John 15:1-17 by Juan S., New York UBF
4. “If Anyone Would Come After Me” — Mark 8:27-38 by Juan P., Belize UBF
2. “Believe in Me” — John 14:1-14 by John L., Springfield UBF
3. “Remain in Me” — John 15:1-17 by Juan S., New York UBF
4. “If Anyone Would Come After Me” — Mark 8:27-38 by Juan P., Belize UBF
Through these messages, we were reminded that our relationship with Jesus begins by following Him, continues by believing in Him, and requires us to remain in Him. As Jesus taught in John 15, we can bear fruit only when we remain connected to Him, just as a branch must remain connected to the vine.
We thank God for preciously using six Bible study group leaders who helped participants study God's Word more deeply and personally. We were also blessed by seven testimony speakers, who shared their personal experiences of God's grace and faith. Their testimonies encouraged us to trust Jesus, follow Him, and remain in Him in our own lives of faith. On the final day of the conference, Missionary Juan Seo led the Communion service, giving us an opportunity to remember the sacrifice and grace of Jesus and renew our commitment to Him.
We praise and thank God for blessing the entire week and conference. From the orphanage ministry to the final day of the conference, God worked through the servants of His Word, missionaries, Bible teachers, testimony speakers, and all the participants.
When we remain in Jesus, we can bear much fruit for God's glory.
We pray that the Word of God planted in our hearts through this conference will continue to grow and produce lasting fruit. May the fruit of the Spirit grow abundantly in each of us, and may our lives become a blessing to our families, communities, campuses, and the nations.
