The Northeast Regional Summer Retreat was held from July 10–12, 2026, at Spruce Lake Retreat Center in Pennsylvania under the theme “Koinonia: Fellowship with God and with One Another.” Around 200 people attended from New York, New Jersey, Trenton, Highland Park, Newark, Springfield, Massachusetts, and Tampa, Florida. Young adults from Boston and New Hampshire and guests from Chicago and Canada also joined us.

Joshua B (New York) introduced the meaning of Koinonia—fellowship with God and with one another. His sincere confession of sin challenged many of us to examine ourselves and confess our own sins. Josephine N (Trenton) spoke about how we are members of one body. Her heartfelt message helped us realize that we are united in the Lord. Phoebe C (Newark) shared a testimonial message about our first love, challenging us to restore our loving relationship with Jesus. Gideon S (Springfield) offered practical guidance on maintaining fellowship through five aspects of “GRACE”: Giving, Receiving, Assembling, Communing, and Enjoying. Based on Philippians 2:1–11, William S (Tampa) shared that true fellowship becomes possible when we learn the mind of Christ. His life testimony deeply moved many listeners. Daniel G (New Jersey) also delivered a meaningful message about true fellowship expressed through loving one another.

We enjoyed many enriching programs, including small-group Bible study and fellowship, life testimonies, a baptism ceremony, praise and worship, an orchestra performance, prayer, a campfire, a skit, special music, icebreaker, etc. We are especially grateful to all the coworkers who devoted themselves to serving the children’s Bible fellowship program.
We pray that through this retreat, all our coworkers in the Northeast region may enter into deeper fellowship with the Lord and with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
