(HQ-General Director) North America House Church Support, NAYAC, Iran

By Pastor Ron Ward

Dear Beloved UBF Community,

At the recent North America Staff Conference, we convened a meeting of regional coordinators for a full day before the conference began. They were asked to assess the state of the UBF ministry in North America. Three words emerged prominently: “unity,” “revival,” and “growth.” Leaders are optimistic and hopeful about the future. However, concerns were raised about the small house churches in North America that require more support.

We are praying to establish a House Church Support Team that will include representatives from NA Headquarters and various regions to maintain contact with these small house churches and provide the necessary support. Your prayers for this initiative are greatly appreciated, and any suggestions you may have would be welcome. Please send them to ubfhqoffice@gmail.com.

The North American Young Adults Conference (NAYAC), aimed at young people aged 18-35, will be held from May 29 - June 1 at the Ohio State University. Currently, we have 73 registrants, but our prayer is for 350 attendees. We hope to reach 200 registrations by the end of the early-bird period on March 29. Please join me in fervent prayer that many young people in our community will participate.
The program is fantastic, titled "Who Jesus Is!" The messages focus on discovering His identity:
“He is…?” (Matthew 16:13-17) by Joseph Lee (New Jersey)
“He is here to seek and save the lost” (Luke 19:1-10) by Ernest Chan
“He is my Risen Lord” (Acts 2:22-41) by Sarah Won
“He is worthy” (Philippians 3:7-11) by Steve Stasinos
“He is calling” (John 15:9-17) by Joshua Jeon
Special seminars on marriage and serving in ministry will also be held, along with fun activities and free time. This will be a wonderful opportunity for young adults to encounter Jesus and forge friendships that can last a lifetime.

Please pray for Susan Yun, Dr. Moses Noh, Missionary David Park, and all the organizers to be filled with God’s wisdom and grace as they prepare. Pray that many spiritual leaders may take a leap of faith through this conference, committing to deeper discipleship as interns or future staff members.

Finally, let us pray for Iran. The Iranian Christian church has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing in the world. Our Iranian brothers and sisters in Christ are dear to us. Now they are suffering a great deal. May God raise up shepherds for their nation and empower Iran to become a missionary-sending country.
