Dear brothers and sisters in Christ:
We praise and thank God for hearing our prayers and pouring out his grace and blessing at the North American Young Adults Conference held at the Ohio State University last weekend. The Holy Spirit worked in power through the messages, life testimonies, Bible studies, praise and worship, and all other programs to move our hearts with the love of God and the grace of Jesus. About 350 young people from across Canada and the U.S. participated and were moved to tears to confess who Jesus is to them. Some said, “Jesus is my Savior,” others said, “Jesus is my Lord,” others said, “Jesus is my peace,” and more.
This weekend I am visiting New Jersey UBF to have fellowship with the Lord’s people. Eleven members from New Jersey attended NAYAC and shared their testimonies last night at the leaders’ meeting. The work of the Holy Spirit was powerfully evident. The messages from NAYAC worked deeply in their hearts. I believe similar meetings were held in many UBF chapters across North America. The Holy Spirit is moving among the young people in our community to bring them to Christ for his saving grace, and to unite them in his love with a clear identity as his people. Let us give thanks to God and continue to pray for the raising of a new generation of spiritual leaders who can carry the gospel ministry forward in their generation.
