Japan UBF’s 4th Next Generation conference was held from March 20-22, 2026, with the theme "As I Have Loved You." The preparation committee of next-generation young people prepared the program with the prayer that we would grow to love one another as Jesus has loved us.

The first sermon was delivered by Megumi Lee of Toshima UBF, based on John 13:34. She confessed the difficulties of practicing Jesus' love in daily life and testified to the beauty of putting love into action. The second message was given by Missionary Mari Lopez of LA UBF, based on John 21:15. Mari, as the first missionary sent from Japan UBF, was invited to deliver the message for this conference. Through Jesus’ question, “Do you love me?”, she delivered a sermon that renewed the vision for campus mission. Additionally, we heard testimonies of how God has worked in the lives of Samuel Suh (Sagamihara), Sion Hyun (Tokyo), Mark Lopez (LA), and Ryosuke Sugie (Tokyo), and shared grace. Kina Kim, Mana Nakamura, and Donghyun Kang presented overseas experience reports.

To get to know each other more and love one another, we organized parties and games. There were opportunities to honestly discuss our struggles, difficulties, grace, and visions experienced in our lives of faith together.
In total, 43 people participated, including 5 overseas missionaries and local leaders. We thank the many missionaries and leaders, including the UBF headquarters, for their prayer support for the conference. We pray that the young generation in Japan will continue to experience Jesus' love and build a faith community that loves one another.
