Dear UBF Member,
“Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.” (Heb 13:7)
We give thanks and praise to God, who has blessed and used the UBF ministry. The Holy Spirit began moving through the late Dr. Samuel Lee and Missionary Sarah Barry as they prayerfully taught the Bible to students in Kwangju, Korea in 1961. Now, so many missionaries have gone out all over the world, and the work of God continues to grow. We who have inherited this amazing ministry are indebted to God and our founders. Hebrews 13:7 tells us to remember our leaders, who spoke the word of God to us, and to consider the outcome of their way of life. Most of all, we need to imitate their faith in Jesus, who is the same yesterday and today and forever. As a first step to imitate their faith, we need to know them. There is now a new way to do so.
I am very pleased to announce that the biography of Dr. Samuel Lee has been published in a two-volume set: “A Shepherd for Young College Students,” and “A Man Captured by the Word of God.” It will be available in August at a cost of $20 per set. I believe that each UBF family should read (and reread) this precious biography. To order a set in the USA or Canada, please ask your chapter director to include you in their chapter’s order.
