(GERMANY) German Coworkers’ Renewed Decision to Love One Another at Their 2026 Coworkers’ Conference

By Germany UBF

43 coworkers gathered together for a coworkers’ conference at the beautiful Flensunger Hof in Mücke from February 12-14, 2026.

Christoph Tornau from Koblenz opened the conference with a message on 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, setting a joyful, prayerful, and thankful tone. Afterwards, we celebrated Reiner Schawienold’s invaluable service as coordinator for the past eight years, especially his stewardship and love for the younger generations. Missionary David Yoo and Knut Rohrmoser were inaugurated as the new co-coordinators for Germany UBF, and we believe God will use them greatly the next four years for campus mission in Germany.

Knut preached on the theme, "Love One Another." It was enriching to hear the message after having studied the passage beforehand during group Bible study. God’s word produced in us grace, repentance, and a renewed decision to love one another. Knut also warmly invited all participants to the World Mission Congress (WMC) and Missionary Service Corps (MSC), and several people eagerly made the decision to go.

Nearly 20 chapter leaders presented God's work in 2025 and their direction for 2026. They made a special commitment to the revival of campus mission and disciple-raising through 1:1 Bible Study.

As the new European Coordinator, Hanna Shin visited with David Shin and encouraged us by sharing the vision and direction for Europe UBF for the next four years.

For the closing message, David Yoo preached on Philippians 2:1-11. He described how he struggled for 20 years in Germany to learn the mind of Christ. Through this, he encouraged everyone to work well together with Christ's mind. Missionary Noah Kang of Cologne led praise and worship throughout the conference. We thank everyone for the ways they served this conference and we thank God for His love that restores and revives our community.
