From September 5 to 7, 2025, Indonesia Depok UBF Center held a 3-day, 2-night summer Bible Conference at Purnama Hotel, located in a cool and high place called Puncak. It was a beautiful location, with refreshing weather and delicious food. Each lecture was powerful and filled with grace, and we had three life testimony speakers, six representative testimony speakers, and a fantastic festival on the second night. Missionaries and local leaders confessed it was the best Bible Conference ever, among many summer Bible Conferences they have attended so far. We give thanks and praise to the Lord who blessed this Bible Conference.

Indonesia officially recognizes Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Confucianism as religions and legally allows freedom of religion. However, due to open religious persecution and violence from the majority Muslim population, churches are frequently attacked, buildings burned, and facilities destroyed or looted (similar to the recent news of lawmakers' houses being raided and looted). Although religious freedom is allowed, laws forbid evangelizing people of other religions and promote respecting others' religions and beliefs and living peacefully. As a result, Muslims, being the majority religious followers, receive many government benefits and support and take great pride, while minorities hide or feel ashamed to reveal their religion. For this Bible Conference, our missionaries prayed and set the overall focus on overcoming Indonesia's pluralism so that the souls attending could personally learn and know Jesus and confess Him as the Christ and the living Son of God.

The schedule was arranged for participants to answer important biblical questions before God.
1st lecture: What do you want me to do for you? (Mark 10:46-52)
2nd lecture: What does it profit a man to gain the whole world but lose his life? (Luke 12:13-21, Mark 8:35)
3rd lecture: Where are you? (Genesis 3:1-15)
4th lecture: Who do you say I am? (Matthew 16:13-20)
5th lecture: Where is your faith? (Luke 8:22-25)
6th lecture: Whom shall I send? (Isaiah 6:1-13)

Following the 4th lecture on the second day, we immediately prepared for communion service. Receiving many prayers from faithful servants of Christ, all speakers deeply received the Word and prepared through prayer, delivering messages with authority and sincere testimonies. Most speakers were moved by God's love and shed tears, powerfully touching the hearts of the listeners. The three main life testimony speakers and six representative speakers shared their experiences of God's love and testified to the decisions of faith in their lives. Each lecture included powerful and joyful sing-alongs, beautiful special songs before each message, and an excellent group Bible study session before the three main lectures.

The communion was filled with God's grace. All attendees focused on writing and sharing their reflections, and on the last night, various festival programs, including special songs, dancing, and plays prepared by each group, expressing praise to Jesus, who found sinful us and became our Savior, with joy and gratitude through dance and drama. We praise the almighty God who did greater works than we prayed and desired. Please pray for the Bible study on the latter part of Exodus, 120 personal Bible studies, and 120 attendees at the Sunday worship after the retreat. Also, many new members were brought through this retreat, so please continue to support them with prayer so that they may grow well as good disciples of Jesus through consistent Bible study and Sunday worship attendance. Once again, we deeply thank all faithful servants for your love and prayer support. We pray you remain strong in spirit and body in the Lord.
