AI for Ministry: A 7-Week Online Class from UBF Headquarters

Reclaim your time. Expand your ministry. Reach students where they are.

AI is quickly becoming a basic skill in every field. Ministry is no exception.
AI can never replace prayer, the Word of God, or our love for souls. But used wisely, it can reduce the hours spent on repetitive work and give that time back to Bible study, prayer, and caring for students.
At the same time, many of the students we hope to reach are spending their days on Instagram and social media, where many chapters still have little presence.

If the world is taking AI this seriously, shouldn’t campus mission do the same?

This fall, UBF Headquarters is offering a 7-week hands-on online class for chapter directors and campus ministers. Each week you learn a practical AI tool and immediately apply it to your own ministry.
You will learn to:
  • Cut the weekly load — bulletins, announcements, reports and ministry materials, in a fraction of the time they take now
  • Prepare the Word faster — Bible research and study preparation, plus word cards, images and short video drawn from the message you already wrote
  • Reach students on Instagram — a chapter account that is set up, branded and actually posting outreach content
  • Open a door online — your chapter’s own invitation page, where a student can sign up for Bible study on their own
By the end, the three to four hours a week that go into bulletins, announcements and word cards can often be done in well under an hour — and your chapter will have real, working channels for meeting students.

No technical or social media background is required. Beginners are welcome.

Starts September 30, 2026 · 7 weeks · Every Wednesday at 7:00 PM CT (Chicago) · 90–120 minutes weekly · Live on Zoom with recordings · In English

Tuition: $100 for all 7 weeks. You will also need your own AI subscription, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc. (about $20 a month), which is yours to keep using afterward. Some Online Outreach AI tools used in the course will be supported by UBF Headquarters during the class period.

AI is not the mission. It is a tool to reclaim our time and to open new doors for bringing students to the Word of God.
