From August 9 to 11, God greatly blessed the Japan National Summer Conference. Despite a heat wave prior to the event, the weather was cool during the retreat. A total of 122 attendees, including 14 from JBF and CBF (children' s ministries), learned about “Living a Life with Jesus.” The speakers, all in their 30s, delivered impactful lectures on the Gospel of Matthew. Notably, speaker Ryosuke Sugie reflected on his struggle with sin and deeply repented, expressing gratitude for Jesus' sacrifice.
On the first day, testimonies were shared by participants, including Deogyu Goddard, who recounted her husband Siegmund's miraculous recovery from a serious accident, attributing it to God’s love and the prayers of the UBF community. The evening workshop focused on living as royal priests in a close relationship with God.
On the second day, Joseph Cho and Moses Lee led a session on prayer and discipleship. Nine participants shared testimonies, expressing their deep gratitude for Jesus’ sacrifice. The Japan Mission Night included a variety of performances and testimonies. The conference was organized by local leaders and missionaries and involved extensive prayer and preparation.
Japan UBF prays to continue walking with Jesus in all aspects of life and fulfill God’s mission of campus and world evangelism.
