Missionary Sarah Barry, born in Benoit, Mississippi on January 22, 1930, is the co-founder of University Bible Fellowship. Sent by the Board of World Missions of the Southern Presbyterian Church (USA) to post-war Korea, she partnered with Pastor Samuel Lee to establish UBF as a student Bible study movement in Kwangju on September 1, 1961. From the mid-1970s through the mid-1990s, she wrote Daily Bread devotional notes in English covering the whole Bible, which became foundational study material for UBF's English-speaking ministries. She was asked by UBF elders to serve as General Director following Dr. Samuel Lee's passing in 2002.
