First, he provides food (1-5). Let us extol our Lord with all our heart. For when we ponder, we see that great are the works of the Lord and glorious and majestic are his deeds. God is gracious and compassionate. He provides food for those who fear him. He remembers his covenant forever. Second, he provides redemption (6-10). God has shown his people the power of his works. He gave them the land of other nations. All his precepts are trustworthy, steadfast forever and ever. According to his promises he provided redemption for his people, through Jesus' death on the cross. Holy and awesome is his name. To fear God is the beginning of wisdom. All who follow his word have good understanding. To God belongs eternal praise.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for sending Jesus to save us from our sins according to your covenant. Help me fear God only.
One Word: Praise the Lord!
