Bethesda Medical Hospital (BMH) Dedication Worship Service

“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Give careful thought to your ways. Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,’ says the Lord.” (Haggai 1:7 & 8)
On Feb. 9, 2013 the BMH dedication worship service was excellent and full of God’s grace. The presider was Dr. Abraham Omoding and the representative prayer servant was M. Isaac Kim from Downey UBF, LA. There was a presentation regarding the history of the Bethesda Medical Hospital construction by Dr. Luke Lim and then a benediction by M. Daniel Rhee.
Dr. John Jun delivered a message based on Haggai 1: 7, 8. In his message he emphasized that this hospital has been constructed for the glory of God. He also preached the purposes of the BMH which are:
- To treat needy people who are suffering from diseases;
- To be used as a recharging center for missionaries in Africa both physically and spiritually;
- To be used as a training center for African intellects.
Also there were some celebrities: Mr. Jongdae Park (Korean Ambassador, Uganda) who gave us a word of congratulation; Rev. Jungsik Lee (President of Korean Missionary Association), and Dr. David Park (Executive Director of the Hospital) who gracefully shared thanksgiving topics in Korean while M. Dr. Luke Lim provided interpretation.
In part II, we had a short trip looking around the hospital and then a snack party with tea afterwards.
