In the way of righteousness, there is life (28). Wisdom from God is not rocket science. You don’t even need to have a college degree to receive it. Righteousness is about valuing and honoring life. Jesus came to give life to the full (Jn 10:10). There are many things that steal our joy. Although Jesus didn't come to rid the world of hardships, suffering, or injustice, he did come to be with us in our suffering and to give us hope and resurrection from the depth of sin and death.

Jesus came to us in our sickness, loss, and rejection that we may realize how much God cares for our life and to give us his grace so we, too, can live a life of love and compassion for others. We are Jesus’ disciples when we love one another. When we know that God loves us, life always finds a way to blossom and grow even beyond the suffering and doom of the world. While some may build rockets to escape, we may find God's love and mercy to endure in our bodies and our communities in this world and beyond.

Prayer: Lord, your wisdom gives life to even the most lost causes. May we receive your wisdom that endures all the world’s storms.

One Word: The way of life
