1. Where should the Lord be praised? (1)

Praise him in the sanctuary. Praise him anywhere and everywhere under his heavens. Whenever God's people come together it should not be to complain or to criticize. When we come together, it should be to praise and thank God. The heavenly hosts praise God day and night in his mighty heavens.

2. Why should he be praised? (2)

Praise him for his acts of power. He is the Creator of all things. He redeemed his people from bondage in Egypt by his mighty hand, and he redeemed us from bondage to sin by sending his one and only Son. Praise him for his surpassing greatness.

3. How should he be praised? (3-5)

When words fail, we can express our thanks and praise in joyful music and dance.

4. Who should praise him? (6)

Everything that has breath should praise the Lord.

Prayer: Lord, attune my heart to praise your name. Help me to praise you with my life wherever I am.

One Word: Everything that has breath praise the Lord
