We celebrated Christmas on December 21. We thank God for 17 participants in this Christmas service. The title of the Christmas message was “Glory to God and Peace to Men” based on Luke 2:8-14. We thank God for Jesus who came to this world as our Savior. We thank God for Jesus who paid for our sins on the cross and who rose again after three days and gave us peace in our heart. Jesus in a manger looked weak but He is our powerful Savior. We praise God because he did not forsake us and he visited us and he is with us. Our God deserves all honor and glory.

After message, we had a Christmas program. First, we had a pantomime called “There are two personalities in me” performed by Fiorella, Esteban and Eugenia.  Next, Anel played her guitar and Midua sang a praise song to God. After that, our brothers prepared a Christian play called “Martin Shoemaker” performed by Kelly, Jorge, Isabel, Esteban and Caty.  After the program, we ate traditional “paneton” (Peruvian bread) with “chocolatada” (chocolate milk).

At the end, all the participants shared what they learnt in this Christmas celebration and they said that the meaning of Christmas is to accept Jesus as their Savior. We pray that God may bless all Christmas celebrations around the world and that Baby Jesus be born in each person.

In Christ, Efrain
