“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given.”  (Isaiah 9:6)

We thank and praise our God Immanuel, who humbly stooped down and was born as a baby and as Prince of Peace in order to reach us sinners in this rough land of Mexico. We also thank Him for blessing our Christmas worship service so abundantly.

The worship service was held in Villa Olympico Auditorium like the previous years. According to our prayers, 500 people attended, including 40 from IXT, 19 from IPN, 16 from Cuautitlan, 5 from S. Tom’s, and 3 from Querretaro.

We started to adore and worship the baby Jesus through the chorus “Hallelujah” after preparing our hearts with praise and worship. God moved our hearts through the message of His deep love to us.

God let the message of His deep love for us sinners which sent us His Only Son to be delivered to each soul through Sh. Raul's message  based on Is. 9:1-6.

In the second part of the worship service, there were a beautiful orchestra performance and worship dances by IXT and CU. The skit was about how the presence of the Baby Jesus and His words resolved the agonies of one campus soul. It was very heart-moving and rendered glory to Baby Jesus.

We could also clearly see the grace of God as we prepared the environment for this worship service. Suddenly a problem occurred the night before the worship service. Our UBF members were rehearsing and cleaning in the auditorium. They came to discover the restrooms in the auditorium were out of order.  We were in despair and very upset with the irresponsible officials from the auditorium. Mainly we worried about the potential distraction caused by the congregation if they had to use the front exit for access to the restroom outside. But God helped us to calm down and remember that the only thing we could do was to pray. So we cried out to God with a shepherd heart, asking Him to pour out His mercy upon these helpless people.  God showed His faithfulness to us, by leading people to move in an orderly manner. Though we had to use the restroom outside the auditorium, this didn’t cause any distraction. To our God, this problem was not a problem at all, after all. We thank and praise this Immanuel God!
