We had a Bible camp at Ganemulla All Nations International Institute in Colombo suburbs from October 25 to 26. Thank God who sent 32 people including children, although we only prayed for 25 attendees. Thank you for all your prayers.

In this conference God established four main messengers; Luke Jun (Opening message), sister Kittikka (Main Lecture 1), Sh. Samuel Palaka (Main Lecture 2), brother Indika (Main Lecture 3), and testimony speakers: Barwanni (Lecture 1), Sarath (Lecture 2), Wupeksha (Lecture 3) and three life testimony speakers (brother Niroshan, sister Amalie, sister Angelika). Through their beautiful messages and testimonies God blessed this Bible camp so abundantly that all attendees’ hearts were deeply moved by the great love of God who seeks and finds the lost through his words.

Most of all, what gave us utmost joy was that sister Dr. Barwanni, brother Niroshan and sister Amalie whom we have been helping and praying for a long time attended this Bible camp and shared their testimonies. Specifically, sister Barwanni, who was unlikely to become a Christian as a medical student and a strong orthodox Buddhist, came back to God by experiencing God’s grace through establishing a house church with Sh. Abraham Pradeep.

Brother Niroshan finally accepted Jesus after a long period of Bible study with Sh. Abraham for five years since he got a place to stay at Sh. Abraham’s old house. Sister Amalie as well attended our Bible camp for the first time and confessed her faith in Jesus. Missionary Aroma met her four years ago and helped her through many Bible studies.

I cannot but confess like the prophet Zechariah that this is not by a person’s might nor by a person’s power, but by the Spirit of the Lord Almighty. Listening to their life testimonies, we could see God heard their prayers of lament and helped them.

Praise God who has pity on the lost souls of Sri Lanka and is doing a new thing! Praise God who makes a way for the gospel in this barren land and who makes streams of living water of the Holy Spirit flow in this wasteland!
