On January 8, 2011 (Saturday) at 11:00 a.m. at the Downey UBF, the above couple established a house church. Shepherdess Ataiena has kept her faith at the Brazil UBF. She is from the USP (University of Sao Paulo). She majored in language (French). Shepherd Nathan received discipleship training at Downey UBF for two years.

Guests from other chapter who came to pray for the wedding are as follows: Missionary Maria Ahn of Chicago; Missionary Elijah Park and Missionary Theresa Han of Brazil UBF; Missionary Timothy U of Paris UBF, and Brother Saul (Guatemala UBF) attended. From the West Coast chapters, Missionary Paul Chin and his coworkers (West LA), Missionary John Baik and his coworkers (El Camino), Missionary Gideon Kligian and his coworkers (Granada Hills), and Brother Antwan (from Sacramento UBF) attended.

Ataiena lost her fatherly support from her childhood. She felt fatalistic about her sad and poor family background. Yet, during her second year at USP Missionary Theresah Han invited her to Bible studies. Since then she met Jesus, and grew as a mother of prayer. Similarly Shepherd Nathan used to seek human love, for at the age of 7 he lost his father. As his mother moved to France, he relocated himself to France. He secured a French citizenship. He finished a bachelor's degree majoring in aerospace engineering. While he was in Cal State Long Beach University campus Missionary Philip Lee of Downey UBF invited him to Bible studies. At that time in order to meet pretty girl friend he used to practice Salsa Dance. But to know God's truth, he quit the dance, and joined a spring conference. Since then he came to meet Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

Missionary Isaac Kim served Genesis 22:14 as the Wedding Sermon entitled "On the Lord's mountain". In his sermon he stated that faith is the mother of obedience, obedience is the mother of provision, and Jesus perfected the way of faith and obedience, and thereby opened the way for our salvation. He exhorted that the couple should continue to live by faith and obey our Lord Jesus, so that the family would be built on the Lord.

After the Wedding, the next Monday the married couple left Los Angeles for the mission field, Sao Paulo.

Thanks and praise be to God who led the fatherless to our Lord Jesus, and united them to build a house church for Bible Brazil and World Campus Mission. The couple now pray to build 12 disciples and out of the disciples, 120 flock of God from among the USP.

One word: On the mountain of the Lord!
