“‘Martha, Martha,’ the Lord answered, ‘you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” (Lk 10:41-42)

Northeaster UBF regional directors met for a retreat at Msn. Jeremiah Lee’s home, near the U-Conn campus- CT, on Martin Luther King’s Birthday (January 16-17). Dr. William Jung (Boston), Joshua Yang (Worcester), Moses Kim (Trenton), Peter Kim (Rutgers), Zechariah Choi (Bronx), Caleb King (Manhattan), Wesley Yoon (Stony Point), Abraham Lincoln (Yale), Jeremiah Lee (U-Conn) and David Baik (New York) participated. After having delicious dinner prepared by Esther Lee (Jeremiah Lee’s wife), we shared what we have been struggling most seriously during the last year. Our conversation went on until 3 am. After breakfast, we studied Luke 10:38-42 (At the feet of Jesus) together. We also shared how we can spend time at the feet of Jesus in the midst of our demanding schedule and pressure and also how we can listen to the voice of God through our Bible study. We also discussed about developing our Bible study program among us. We hope have an opportunity for our spouses to have fellowship in the near future.
