On March 16, 2011 Yonhee UBF held  it’s Bible academy for freshmen after school classes opened.

Sh. Chun Woo-hyoung delivered a heart moving message titled, “Jesus Came to Call Sinners,” from Mark 2. Through the message, Jesus, who came to call sinners, revealed his love, hope, and mercy for hopeless, selfish sinners like Levi. It also revealed that Sh. Chun Woo-hyoung’s life was tremendously changed through the gospel in the presence of God.

Then two students shared their wonderful testimonies. Brother Kim Pyo-sang (University of Yonse, master’s course) was wandering because of meaninglessness in his life. But when he accepted God’s hope and calling for him to be a source of blessing for this generation, based on Genesis 12:2, he was transformed from having a meaningless life to having a meaningful shepherd life, actively serving others in Jesus Christ. Through God’s calling him to be a blessing and his victorious life in Jesus, all the attendees were greatly  moved.

Sister Cho Soo- hyun (University of Ewha) was a smart girl, but she had been suffering from a sense of emptiness and powerlessness, spending days watching TV dramas in her room. But through her testimony, she boldly testified full of thanksgiving about her love of the cross of Jesus and about her changed life into a spiritual prayer mother for campus students after receiving the grace of forgiveness in Jesus.

Afterward there was a joyful drama based on the word of God, special performances, and a special song that opened wide the hearts of the freshmen for the gospel. We thank God for bringing many new freshmen to this Bible academy from the Universities of Yonse and Ewha. Through this we have hope and vision for many freshmen from the campuses who would win the victory in Jesus.

Yonhee UBF prays to raise 600 one to ones by each of our coworkers and to invite new students from the campuses in this  Spring semester.

We also are going to have one more Bible academy for the freshmen on March 24. After that, we also planned our chapter by chapter Easter Bible conferences that will take place April 9 and 10.

Yonhee UBF spring prayer topics:

1. For raising 600 one to ones each week.

2. For Easter Bible conferences on April 9 and 10 and for the great work of the word of God through the Easter conferences.
