"He appointed twelve-designating them apostles-that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons." (Mark 3:14,15)

From the beginning, UBF students realized that Jesus' command to make disciples of all nations was a command to all Christians. Students who have accepted Jesus Christ and studied the Bible faithfully throughout their college years establish their value systems according to the teachings of the Bible. God calls some to go as cross-cultural missionaires. Many students who have grown in their faith and commitment to Jesus prayerfully consider a mission field. As a laymen's missionary movement, UBF missionaries are financially self-supporting. Decisions to go out to pioneer must be solidly based on the guidance of the Holy Spirit as well as sound faith. Missionaries are prepared and trained Bible study, prayer, shepherding others, sermon preparation, mision field research, foreign language study, etc.
