Thank you for your prayer support for Japan.

Many people in Japan are going through great trials and tribulations after the severe earthquake and tsunami, as well as the radiation pollution. Many foreigners are returning to their countries. At the Tokyo Korean School where I am working, only one third of the Korean students attended the degree ceremony. However, most Japanese people are acting very calmly. My oldest son, who is attending a public school, came back from a school excursion last week. My second son also had normal classes and graduated. Likewise, our missionaries are also living calmly. The Jo family in Sendai was unharmed by the tsunami because they were staying in Akita, which is 300 km away from Sendai. Last week, they went back to Sendai and found that their house was not damaged.

Our co-workers in Japan are planning to collect a relief offering for the people who lost their houses and families and who are still suffering due to the radioactivity and aftershocks. Please continue to pray for God’s mercy upon Japan.

Thank you,

M. Daniel, Tokyo
