April 1-3, 2011 UIC held an Easter celebration at Camp Wonderland, WI. 108 attended (28 UIC students). Adam Kramarczyk’s message on 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 taught us the gospel as the source of newness. Through Steve Stasinos’ message on Romans 6 we thought about how to walk in newness of life. Through Jacob Kim’s message on Acts 1:8 we learned the power of the Holy Spirit to live newly.
Bible teachers prepared well, and we had 9 heart-moving life testimonies, mostly shared by students. Thank you all for your prayers for us. Thank God for the gospel of Jesus. Thank God for uniting us with him in his death and resurrection, so that we might walk in newness of life. Please pray for us to count ourselves dead to sin but alive to God, to offer ourselves to God as his instrument, and to live by the power of the Holy Spirit in our new life.
