On April 13, 2011, Dr. John and M. Sunji came to visit Choongchung UBF right after the Korea Spring Staff Conference. Dr. John gave us a message titled, "Go up into the forest and clear land for yourselves," based on Joshua 17:14-18. Through the message, he convinced us to have faith in God who will use us mightily for campus ministry and who will raise disciples among campus students even though they are chasing after materialism, idleness, pleasures, and many kinds of sin that look like iron chariots. We were greatly encouraged by his message and restored our pioneering spirit.

I pray that God may grant me a broken shepherd heart for the campus souls in this generation who are captured in the power of sin and help me to hold on to the word of God’s promise so that I can bring many to Jesus our Lord. May God help me to actively serve this pioneering work in obedience to the word from Joshua 17:18,"… but the forested hill country as well. Clear it, and its farthest limits will be yours; though the Canaanites have iron chariots and though they are strong, you can drive them out.”

After the message, Dr. John and Sunji earnestly prayed for my family and our pioneering work. We thank God for encouraging us through the word of God and through his precious servants.
